ECS Quality Management Program
ECS recognizes that an organization seeking to advance its business goals through consistent industry leadership must be managed in a systematic and visible manner. Accordingly, we have established, documented, and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) that is maintained in full compliance with the latest aerospace standards and requirements, including ISO 9001-2000, AS 9100, and FAA 14CFR21, Subpart K.
The ECS QMS employs a variety of metrics to ensure the quality of its products and services. Using an ISO-approved framework to manage inventory, equipment, processes, and personnel, we consistently meet or exceed customer requirements for lead-time, quality, service, and on-time performance.
ECS is the first aerospace company to receive dual certification under both the ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
Certification Support and PMA Coordination
ECS, an approved FAA PMA facility, supports both new and retrofit avionics and instrument installations with a full-time staff dedicated to ensuring that all manufactured parts comply with industry/OEM standards and requisite approvals.
Our in-house FAA-certified Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) and Designated Manufacturer Inspection Representative (DMIR) personnel provide airworthiness and conformity inspections to ensure process, test, and product compliance with design data specifications.
When appropriate, and working in coordination with ECS DER staff members, our quality department will produce a "Certification Plan" to establish that test objectives and conditions are validated; that tests are carried out to specification, and results recorded; that the correct configuration is tested; and that the requirements of the test plan and acceptance criteria are met.
Our goal, for project scopes of all size and complexity, is to expedite customer schedules with products that demonstrate proven reliability and full compliance with all necessary authorities.
