Whether your EFB installation requires a sidewall panel mounted display or one that is fully adjustable, EZMount™ EFB mounting solutions from ECS are designed, with minor interface modifications, to work with all available EFB systems and aircraft cockpit configurations.

Since 2002, ECS has made significant investment in the research and development for the mounting of EFB and digital displays on-board aircraft. Based upon pilot desire to use EFB as a multi-functional display, ECS began working with EFB OEMs to find an economical solution to incorporate their products in the cockpit. From the outset of the ARINC 828 meetings, ECS participated as an active contributor and industry editor for the ARINC 828 specification documentation.

EZMount™ EFB Installation Solutions:

EZMount EFB Installation Solutions from ECS are simple in design and easy to adjust. They offer multi-axis rotation for sufficient flexibility to accommodate the tight space requirements of flight deck installation for both pilot and co-pilot positions. Developed to address vertical, horizontal, angular or window aircraft mounting surfaces, EZMount Installation Solutions are life-cycle tested in excess of 20 years. Based on extensive research, they can be used in all phases of in-flight and on-the-ground aircraft operations (when properly installed).

EZMount Installation Solutions come in four mounting configurations and can be purchased separately or packaged with the necessary EFB and aircraft structural interface hardware, as well as system interconnect and aircraft interface cabling. Every EZMount assembly shipped from ECS is tested to ensure compliance with industry requirements such as RTCA/DO-160E shock, crash safety, vibration, and environmental standards; and as part of the EFB installation provisions, ECS provides the necessary Qualification Report.
