ECS Engineering Disciplines and Capabilities
At ECS, our engineering department is at the heart of our process. With a full compliment of engineering disciplines, we are capable of providing design and engineering services in accordance with ARINC specifications and aerospace flight-critical requirements. We maintain our expertise and ongoing industry certifications while offering services including product design, avionics system installation design, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, cooling and filtration, installation consultation, and engineering documentation and certification. Our dedicated staff of engineers, designers, draftsmen, and certification specialists pools multi-disciplinary expertise to provide our customers with high-reliability, approvable results.
ECS Engineering Disciplines Include:
- Avionics Systems Integration: Fully integrated installation kits; Plug&Play racks and shelf systems; instrument panels; and LRU enclosures with full internal packaging
- Structural/Mechanical: ARINC trays, shelf, and rack assemblies; antenna doublers and adapters; LRU enclosures; and EFB and digital display installation/arm brackets
- Cooling/Filtration/Shock Vibration: Convection airflow cooling; supplied airflow cooling; stand-alone positive forced airflow cooling; positive and negative pressure custom air filtration systems and airflow sensors; and shock/vibration solutions that comply with RTCA/DO-160 standards for airborne equipment
- RF/Electrical: Core electrical components such as RF cables, connectors, and assemblies; composite and data bus cabling; and fiber optic cable integration and termination
- Full Certification Support: On-staff FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and certification specialists that cover the following technical disciplines: Structural Engineering, Systems and Equipment
